The last week of our Phase I Teaching Practice was a memorable one. We were happy, that all our practice had finally come to an end. We were quite sad to bid goodbye to our dearest students.
On Wednesday, I conducted the achievement test for the students of IX O. I conducted an analysis of the test on Thursday and provided remedial teaching. Throughout the reteaching session, students remained attentive and cooperative. Also, I helped the students to review the grammar portions and, conducted the diagnostic test on Friday. Also, I provided the required remedial teaching by analysing below average students' performance on the diagnostic test.
I also conducted the conscientization program on " Self-Sufficient Adulthood" in my class.
As part of School Health Programme, health check ups was done for the students of class IX during the forenoon session on Tuesday, primarily checked their haemoglobin level, height, weight, etc. Routine health screening would help early diagnosis and intervention and prevent long-time problems later in life.
On Wednesday and Friday, for connecting students through music and news, School F.M. broadcasted programmes for half an hour (1.00 p.m. - 1.30 p.m.)
Apart from this, all these days, the campus was busy with the preparations for School Annual Day celebration.
On the last day of teaching practice, all of us gave surprise gifts to our concerned teachers, other teaching and non teaching staffs, and our dear students as a token of love. Our beloved headmistress Smt. Judith Latha teacher gave us some valuable messages which will forever serve as a pillar for our teaching career.
