The 'springing of the year' began once again . The second phase of the teaching practice commenced in a delight not completely for the apprehension still prevailed. We the teacher trainees took charge by going to the respective classes as assigned with our teaching aids and following the lesson plans. I was given 9H to teach English and the teacher assigned for me was Sr. Heather. The head of the subject in school has also asked me to engage 9 O where I was instructed to use the same lesson plan as that of class 9H. We began the first class on June 14th which was a Wednesday. In addition to the classes assigned for us we also helped the faculty by going for substitutions as well. That week we had only two working days ( Wednesday and Thursday) for Friday was a holiday for almost all Christian management institutions in and around Kollam. Just a like sweet box yet to unwrapped by a curious kid, the classes and the lesson plans remains. This week however did end in delight .
