This week had it's own glitters for the school celebrated reading week commemorating P.N Panicker sir and arranged activities to seed the importance of reading in students. There was quiz, painting , drawing competitions and reading and recitation of poems by students during the week. I had my class observed by Dr. Byju. C sir from our college, as part of the general observation on 19/06/23 (Monday). The classes went pretty well this week . The students were enthusiastic and energetic to respond and learn. On 21/06/23 (Wednesday) being the International Yoga Day, the school had organised sessions including yoga exercises . The eight standard students were taken to the auditorium for yoga so I didn't miss any class hours as such. On 22/06/23 (Thursday) the Vimalites celebrated the School Day. The students were asked to come in their white uniforms like little angels and there was holy mass at noon. We spend the afternoon going for substitutions and ensuring the discipline of the students. Since Friday was a statewide educational strike day, there was no class and we were also instructed to stay home. But compensating that there was class on Saturday . By the end of the week, taking substitution hours and going for our regular class hours however we have managed to complete the lessons as per plan.Thus giving more hopes to move forward , the second week at school did end well leaving more lesson plans to be written and teaching resources to prepare ahead.
