School Internship Phase II- Week 7 (24/07/23- 29/07/23)

It was indeed a happy start this week for the first day of the week began with a function. The school had organised "Merit Day" to congratulate the winners of 10th and 12th public exams. The chief guest of honour was former DGP of Police force, Smt.Sandhya IPS. It was a very happy moment for all and an inspiring one for the students. The classes went well and according to the lesson plans I was able to finish the portions. The students were enthusiastic to do all the classroom activities and did comprehend the lessons well. I also helped and consistently checked the improvements made by the students in their LSRW skills. This week I  transacted an innovative lesson which was based on the poem "Song of a Dream", the students as planned did their versions of the poem and it made the chapter more interesting. I also conducted the achievement test for 25 marks on the first unit. The students have done well and some really made me proud. There was class on Saturday too this week since Friday was a public holiday so I didn't miss any regular class hour as such. As days pass I come to understand each student who is seated before me well and I think that I could make use of that knowledge in enriching their learning experience and in polishing my teaching input too. On the whole this week went well and amazingly satisfying and productively rich.
